Keith Urban Concert!
As many of you know, Keith Urban is one of my favorite artists of all time... Eric and I were fortunate enough to have spent a ton of money on tickets for his show this week! I even have to admit that I'm a dork enough to have joined his fan club to be able to buy pre-sale tickets... This decision of mine paid off though, as our seats were PERFECT!! We were 9 rows up just to the left of the stage so we were able to see everything. Not only was his show amazing, but Sugarland opened up for him, and they were unreal, to say the least... Already looking forward to the next time they both come back to town! (and yes I'll still be a member of the fan club)

4th of July Festivities
This 4th of July we chose to go to the Denver Outlaws outdoor lacrosse game at Invesco Field. One of the coaches I work with at DU, Matt Brown, plays on the team so we were fortunate to be given tickets by him. Kyler wanted to buy a Matt Brown jersey as a token of his appreciation, and the rest of night is history!

Kid's Summer Camps
I know it's been FOREVER since we last updated the blog! Our life has been hectic since the kid's got here this summer, so it's hard to find the time to do this. But it is very important to all of us to keep family and friends in the loop of our lives, so here's some pictures from the kid's camps they did last week at DU. Kenzie did DU's gymnastics camp and Kyler did George Gwozdecky's hockey camp... At the end of the week, they were both asking if they could do camp again!

First day of camp! Can you tell it's early in the morning???

Valentine's Festivities
So for Valentine's this year, we just decided to do the cheap option and stay at home. We made some fondue, shrimp, and steak. It was delicious! We had the house to ourselves for dinner, so we dressed up for our in home reservations and had a blast. I also have to brag about my three dozen roses I got... What an amazing husband I have! Yes all you others should be jealous :)

Coolest cat ever... seriously
For those of you that think you have cool cats (No mom, Bebe is not the coolest of cats) think again! Shooter seriously is out of this world... As if playing fetch isn't enough, Eric is in the process of teaching her to sit, and she's pretty much got it. Next he's teaching her how to high five, haha imagine that.
This is Eric's idea of using her as a paper stand. And she doesn't mind at all as long as she's the center of attention!

We are hockey nuts!
For those of you that don't know (haha) we are hockey crazy. I think I remember when Eric and I decided to move to Colorado, that he said he was most excited at the opportunity to go to Avalanche games. I think I then remember saying yeah right, it's way too expensive. Well God must have heard our hockey prayers and has blessed us with the opportunity to go to a bunch of games this year. Here are just a few pictures of some of Kyler's favorite players, including Sid the Kid! I think we might start a hockey card business next...

Living in the coolest place on earth
Just to let you all know, we live in the prettiest place in the world! (Maybe not the world, but I'll certainly take it after the beauty or lack thereof of Amarillo) The other day, we had a herd of elk in the front yard, and about 10 deer in the backyard. Couldn't ask for anything more beauty than some of God's creatures looking so peaceful right outside your window. I hope everyone has the chance to witness such beauty someday, and when you do, I also hope you take a second to appreciate it.
